Big Disappointment For Common Man: No change in Income Tax Slab For Individual Taxpayers

Bhubaneswar: In a big disappointment for the Common Man waiting for some relief in the Union Budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has not proposed any changes in the Income Tax slabs for the Individual Tax Payers in today’s Budget announcement. There was a hope that the Minister will announce some increase in the Tax Slabs bringing relief to them. The limit has not been increased in the last few years.

The Finance Minister has announced to provide an opportunity to tax payers to correct an error and they can now file an updated return within 2 years from the relevant assessment year.
