COVID-19: Seven Villages in Deogarh Declared Containment Zones for Active Surveillance

Deogarh: After the detection first COVID-19 positive case in Deogarh district, the administration has declared seven villages as containment zones for active surveillance and extensive contact tracing.

The district administration has issued containment orders for Basudevpur, Khuntaposhi, Jhatkiposhi, Samantrapali, Nuagaon and Kamalabagicha of Kalanda gram panchayat and Sunamunda village under Baniakiinda GP.

As per the order, vehicular movement (both private and public transport) will be stopped and all the inhabitants within the containment zones will strictly remain indoors.

All shopping establishments will remain closed. Supply of essential and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the block administration.

All the Government and private institutions within the Containment Zone will remain closed forthwith.

The containment will remain in force till further orders.
