25 Labourers Reach Ganjam Via Sea Route from Chennai, Sent to Quarantine

Bhubaneswar: Around 25 labourers from Odisha who were returning from Chennai through sea route have reached their home State today.

The labourers are from Odisha’s Ganjam district.

They reached by sea route from Chennai to Ramyapatana village of Chikiti block.

They were among the 39 persons who took voyage from Chennai. Rest 14 persons are from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

A team of Ganjam district administration reached Ramyapatana village to screen the returnees medically and shifted them to institutional quarantine at GP, informed Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.

In a similar voyage earlier on April 25, 38 persons, including nine from Andhra Pradesh reached at Patisunapur coast in Ganjam district in a fishing boat from Chennai.
