14-Day Mandatory Quarantine for People Coming to Subarnapur from 13 COVID Hotspot Districts

Subarnapur: As a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Subarnapur district administration has made 14-day institutional/home quarantine mandatory for the returnees from 13 hotspots districts of Odisha.

The people coming from Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sundergarh, Puri, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balangir to Subarnapur shall undergo mandatory institutional/home quarantine for a period of 14 days as per the advice of the Medical Officer, said Subarnapur Collector Monisha Banerjee.

She also said that imposition of curfew shall remain in force from 7 PM to 7 AM every day.

Subarnapur has reported 44 cases of COVID-19 so far, according to the Health and Family Welfare Department.
