Cuttack: 150 Bedded 2nd Covid-19 Hospital Starts Functioning From Today

Cuttack: A 150-bedded second COVID-19 hospital in Cuttack has started functioning from today. The government has converted the Sadguru Hospital into a dedicated Covid-19 hospital. This would be in addition to the Ashwini COVID Hospital in the city.

The new Sadguru COVID Hospital will offer 24 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and a total of 11 dialysis beds. With this, the numbers of ICU beds in Cuttack has increased from 34 to 58. Cuttack district today recorded highest single day spike of 589 cases drawing the attention of the authorities.
