Bhubaneswar: The second phase of the Odisha Assembly Budget Session began here today.
On the first day, the House paid tributes to three former members, who passed away recently.
Chief Minister and Leader of the House Naveen Patnaik made obituary reference condoling the recent death of former legislators Prahlad Behera, Bira Sipka and Bijay Kumar Nayak.
The House observed silence in the honour of departed souls.
The first phase of the Budget Session lasted from February 14 to February 26, during which Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari tabled the annual Budget for 2020-21 financial year.
The second phase of the session would continue till April 9.
