5.62 Crore Doses of Vaccines Administered in Odisha So Far: Health Official

Bhubaneswar: Over 5.62 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far in Odisha.
This has been informed by State Nodal Officer for Immunisation-cum-Family Welfare Director Dr Bijay Panigrahi.
Odisha had started the COVID vaccination drive on January 16 last year.

93.5% of eligible beneficiaries have taken the first dose and 74% have taken the second dose in the State. More than 14 lakh persons in the 15-18 age group have been administered the vaccine, according to reports.

Around 3.87 lakh of precaution doses have been administered to healthcare and frontline workers and comorbid people aged 60 and above.
