Nuapada: In an effort to strengthen the Mo Sarkar initiative and take firsthand experience of its implementation, 5T Secretary V Karthikeya Pandian today made a visit to the District Headquarter Hospital in Nuapada. He was accompanied by R Balakrishnan, Chief Advisor, CMO and Mission Director NHM, Shalini Pandit.
During his visit to the Nuapada DHH, Pandian reviewed the functioning of the hospital and enquired with the patients regarding the services provided. He also had an interaction with the district officials and hospital authorities regarding various issues.
The focus of the visit was on service delivery to citizens. He also enquired about the infrastructural necessities of the hospitals. District Collector Madhusmita Sahu, SP, CDMO and hospital authorities were present at the time of the visit.
Similarly, Pandian also visited DHH Kalahandi and Regional Transport Office, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district and inquired about the Government’s zero tolerance to dalals policy.
Later in the afternoon, Pandian also visited another backward district, Rayagada DHH to inspect the Mo Sarkar initiatives of the Government.
5–T Secretary V K Pandian had yesterday visited the four major hospitals of Malkangir, Nabarangpur, Jeypore and Koraput.
