5T: CM to Dedicate ‘Sujal – Drink from Tap Mission’ to People of Puri Today

Bhubaneswar: As part of the transformative initiative under 5T framework, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will dedicate ‘Sujal – Drink from Tap Mission’ to the people of Puri.

The Chief Minister will launch the Mission through virtual platform at around 11 am.

The ‘Sujal – Drink from Tap Mission’ will ensure 24/7 quality water supply in the heritage city.

Notably, while launching the programme in October last year, the CM announced by March, 2022, all 114 urban centres in the State will have 100 per cent piped water connection.
He had urged the officials to expand the programme to each region of the State in a phased manner.
