Balangir: As part of the Mo Sarkar Initiative, Secretary 5-T Initiatives V K Pandian today took stock of the healthcare facilities at the Bhima Bhoi Medical College And Hospital in Balangir and the District Headquarter Hospital in Subernapur. He visited different wards of the hospitals to assess the status of the healthcare services provided to the people.
The team comprising Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy and NHM Mission Director Shalini Pandit visited the hospitals and discussed various issues with the District Collectors Arindam Dakua and Monisha Banerjee and senior medical officers.
They interacted with the patients, enquired about the quality of treatment and the conduct of the medical staff. Besides, they also took feedback of patients and their relatives about the disbursal of free medicines, food and diagnostics facilities.
The visiting team also went to the Aahaar Kendra in Subernapur to take lunch with the common people and get feedback from the users.
