Bhubaneswar: As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian has reviewed the ongoing process of promotion adalats by various departments of State Government.
As part of the 5T initiatives, the Government is holding promotion adalats to address the issues related to promotion of the govt. employees.
The cases of the aggrieved government employees whose promotion were due but could not be considered by December 31, 2022 are being taken up in the three-day promotion adalats, which kicked started from February 1.
The adalats would hear total 1,326 representations received through e-mail and promotion adalat portal. The applicants have been received acknowledgement of their representations, the General Administration and Public Grievances (GA&PG) department informed.
The applicants who turned up at the adalat have termed the system of promotion adalat a revolutionary step by the State Government. The applicants further expressed their desire that such a system should be further strengthened and should continue in the coming years.
