Malkangiri: Motivated by the development works of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha Government, another 650 active Maoist supporters have surrendered before the police in Malkangiri district.
“In continuation to surrender of hundreds of Militias and Maoist supporters before police, another 650 active Maoist supporters including 350 militias of Dhuliput GP, Rollagedda GP and Injeri GP (AP), surrendered before DIG SWR, SP Malkangiri, and BSF Odisha”, the Odisha Police informed.
The Maoist supporters were motivated by developmental works of Odisha Government. They also exhibited their opposition towards the Maoist ideology by burning the dress materials and effigies of Maoists and gave slogans “Maobadi Murdabad,Ama Sarkar Jindabad”, the police stated.
