Bhubaneswar: A school teacher in Odisha’s Boudh district has faced action for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct, which is being enforced for the ensuing elections in the State.
As per reports, Govardhan Pradhan, a high school teacher was transferred for his alleged involvement in political activity.
Pradhan, who was posted at the Tribal High School in Kantamal constituency, has now been transferred to Mathura Panchayat High School in Boudh constituency.
The Boudh District Collector-cum-District Election Officer directed the District Education Officer (DEO) to take action against the accused teacher after the allegation against him came to the fore.
Earlier, a high school teacher in Boudh district, was suspended for allegedly participating in a political rally.
