Curfew Imposed In Balasore Following Group Clashes; Internet Services Suspended At Some Places 

Balasore: The Balasore district administration has imposed curfew in the city Municipality areas following reports of incidents of group clashes. The decision to impose curfew has been taken in view of the continued unrest in some places. Senior officials of the Police Department including the Addl DG (Law & Order) Sanjay Kumar, IG, SP, other senior officials are present in Balasore and monitoring the situation. Several platoons of Police forces have conducted flag march in the town.

According to sources, Internet services have also been suspended in several sensitive areas of Balasore town to prevent any untoward incident. There have been reports of damage to several four-wheelers yesterday night. About five to seven persons including some police persons also sustained injuries yesterday in stone pelting incidents.
