Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is leading in 212 Zilla Parishad seats, BJP in 26 seats and Congress in 11 seats, as per the preliminary trends coming out from 253 ZP zones.
The counting is underway for 315 ZP seats.
Reports from various zones in Kendrapada, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Rayagada suggest in majority of the seats, the BJD candidates are leading.
