Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik condoled the demise of former minister and senior BJD leader Bishnu Charan Das, who passed away at a private hospital on Monday.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister explained Das a popular leader, an able organizer and a good administrator.
As a minister, MP and MLA, Das had made remarkable contributions to the various areas of development in the State. His contribution for the development of Jagatsinghpur district will always be remembered, Naveen said.
The CM also conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Notably, senior BJD leader and Tirtol MLA Bishnu Charan Das died at a private hospital here on Monday. He was 66.
