Ganjam: Health Supervisor Arrested for Taking Bribe for Issuance of Birth Certificate

Berhampur: A health supervisor in Odisha’s Ganjam district was arrested by the vigilance officials for allegedly taking bribe for issuance of birth certificate.

Balakrushna Padhy, Multi Purpose Health Supervisor, Kelluapali CHC, Ganjam has been arrested while demanding and accepting bribe Rs.2,000/- from a complaint for issuance of Birth Certificate of his niece, the Odisha Vigilance informed.

In this connection, a case has been registered against the health supervisor at Berhampur Vigilance PS . The investigation is underway.
