Odisha: 8 Dead, 10 Critically Injured in Road Accident in Koraput

Koraput: At least eight persons were killed and 10 others critically injured in a major road accident in Kotapad block in Odisha’s Koraput district, according to reports.

The mishap took place near Murtahandi under Kotpad police station limits when a pick-up vehicle, in which the victims were travelling, overturned this evening.

According to reports, around 30 passengers were returning to Kulta village in Chhattisgarh after attending dasaha (10th-day mourning) rituals of a deceased person from Sindhuguda village in the ill-fated vehicle.
