Maoist Articles Recovered during Combing Operation in Kandhamal

Bhubaneswar: Security forces have recovered Maoist articles during a combing operation in Odisha’s Kandhamal district.

Based on reliable input, an anti-Naxalite operation of joint team of SOG and DVF, Kandhamal was launched on October 9 under Baliguda P.S in Kandhamal.

During the course of operation on October 11 while the team was combing the area an exchange of fire occurred near village Kanasalu under Baliguda P.S. limits, where a female Maoist cadre was neutralized.

Further in continuation of operation, a combing operation was launched by joint team of SOG and DVF. On October 13 while the joint team of SOG & DVF, Kandhamal was searching and they recovered Maoist articles.

The recovered Maoist articles include one Haversack, Maoist literatures, one airbag, one black shirt, one catapult, one pull throw, three wrist watch, one pair shoes, one pair of socks, medicines, contraceptives, one misquote net, one steel plate, one steel mug and other materials.
