Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance has unearthed 50 more crypto currency wallets of RWSS Department, BBSR Circle, Additional Chief Engineer Nihar Ranjan Das.
“Further evidence and details of 50 more crypto wallets have been recovered by contact with various crypto exchanges. With this the total crypto wallets unearthed so far comes to 88. These were in different exchanges like TRX-Trons, Trust wallets and PLCU. All these wallets and IDs were in the exclusive possession and operation of Das. During investigations so far, a total of Rs 2 crore in crypto assets has been unearthed,” the Vigilance said.
Das was arrested by the Vigilance sleuths on October 29 for possessing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
