Bhubaneswar: In an inspiring story, a 98-year-old woman has successfully fought the battle against the second wave of COVID-19 in the capital city.
As per reports, Annapurna Biswal with co-morbidities has recovered from the virus after treatment at a private hospital here.
The 98-year-old woman, a resident of Chandrashekharpur area, was admitted at SUM Covid Hospital after she tested positive for COVID-19 on May 5.
It just took a week’s time for Annapurna Biswal to recover from the infectious disease, according to sources.
Annapurna, who had also filaria, hypertension and diabetes, responded well to the treatment at SUM.
Meanwhile, Annapurna’s successful battle against corona has provided morale boost to those who are currently suffering from the virus.
