Eight More Advocates Arrested In Sambalpur In Connection With Vandalising Judge’s Chamber

Sambalpur: The Sambalpur Police has arrested eight more advocates in connection with the vandalizing of the chambers of the District Court Judge during protests for High Court bench last week.

The arrested advocates include Sambalpur Bar Association President Sureshwar Mishra and others. With this, the number of arrestes in the case has risen to 24. The Police has also arrested four transgenders today in connection with the incident.

The Supreme Court had on Wednesday asked the DG and State police to take strong action against the advocates who indulged in the vandalisation of the court premises.
