Sambalpur: A Barishtha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra train carrying senior citizens was flagged off from Sambalpur.
The train carrying 974 senior citizens and escort officers left Sambalpur station for pilgrimage trip to Mathura and Vrindavan.
The train was flagged off in presence of Minister Water Resources, C&T TukuniSahu, Minister of Higher Education Rohit Pujari, Dy Speaker OLA Rajanikanta Singh, Sambalpur Collector Ananya Das along with other dignitaries.
The yatra will conclude on January 22, the Department of Tourism informed.
