Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the distribution of by-cycles for the community partners of the state. Eight thousand community partners will be given by-cycles by the Housing and Urban Development Department.
The Chief Minister launched the distribution at a function held at the Lok Seva Bhaban by handing over the cycles to the Self Help Group members. The Jala Sathis, Ahaar Karmis, Swacha Karmis, Swacha Sathis, and Swacha supervisors will be given the cycles.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said that the Mission Shakti Mothers are doing a very good work. “I have been meeting the Mission Shakti mothers at various places during my visits and they are also meeting me at the Naveen Niwas. I am very happy with their success. Your self confidence has made Mission Shakti No-1. You have been taking many responsibilities in various cities. All are happy with your work,” he said.
