Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded 17 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, informed Odisha Public Health Director Niranjan Mishra on Friday.
With this, the total number of positive cases in the state reaches 73.
The fresh positive cases were detected 5,647 samples were tested in laboratories during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Public Health Director said that there is no need to panic over the COVID situation. The rise in COVID-19 cases was due to an increase in testing, he said.
