A Safe Roof Over Each Rural Family of Odisha is Gov’t Top Priority : Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that a safe roof over the head of each rural family of Odisha was Biju Babu’s dream and ensuring a Pucca House to every rural family that lives in Kuchha House is state government’s topmost priority.

The Chief Minister has also launched the distribution of entitlement cards to another 20 lakh beneficiaries who will be provided with Pucca Houses under schemes of Rural Housing in a phased manner based on their eligibility and priority criteria by 2022.

He handed over entitlement cards to nine beneficiaries at the State level function of Panchayati Raj Divas here.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said his government believes in work and not on empty talks and promises.

Congratulating the beneficiaries on getting Pucca Ghar Entitlement Order, Naveen said till date 25 lakh people have been benefited from the scheme.

He promised that 20 lakh more beneficiaries will get pucca houses in the next four years.

Naveen also said people are the real masters in a democratic setup and added that March 5 will be observed in the State as Panchayati Raj and Lok Seva Divas.
