New Delhi: Mali Women recorded the lowest ever total in T20I cricket history after the team was bowled out for just 6 runs in 9 overs against Rwanda on Tuesday in the Kwibuka Women’s T20 tournament at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium, Rwanda.
Nine Mali Women batters could not open their account. Five of those six runs came in the form of extras – byes, leg byes and a wide.
Mali opener Mariam Samake top-scored with 1(6). Rwanda chased down the target in four deliveries.
The previous lowest total was 14 (China Women). It was against UAE women in January this year during the Women’s T20 Smash in Bangkok.
