Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Monday conducted simultaneous house searches of Dharanidhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Mines(DDM), Talcher in Angul district due to the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Vigilance sleuths led by 10 DSPs, 16 Inspectors, 7 SI/ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Angul at the 8 places in Bhubaneswar, and Keonjhar and Angul districts linked with the DDM.
The places are:
1.Flat No. 205, 2nd floor of Surekha Orchid Sisuvihar, Patia Bhubaneswar.
2. One double storeyed Market complex consisting of 15 shops (9 shops on the ground floor and 6 shops on the 1st floor) of the building located at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur Telkoi , Keonjhar.
3.One double storeyed building under construction adjacent to market complex at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur ,Telkoi Keonjhar.
4. One single storeyed building at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur Telkoi, Keonjhar.
5. Paternal house of Sri Nayak at village Chhamunda, Via-Telkoi PS-Telkoi, Dist-Keonjhar.
6.His temporary residence at Talcher , Dist-Angul.
7.Office room of Sri Nayak at O/o-Dy Director Mining, Talcher ,Dist-Angul.
8. His relative’s house at village Purumunda, Ghatagaon, Dist-Keonjhar.
Searches are continuing.
