Arcelor Mittal Executive Chairman L N Mittal In Odisha To Review Progress of Steel Plant; To Meet Naveen in The Afternoon

Bhubaneswar: Arcelor Mittal Executive Chairman Lakshmi Niwas Mittal is on a visit to Odisha to review the progress of the 12 million ton Integrated Steel Plant being set up in Kendrapara district. He is visiting the project site in Kendrapada district’s Mahakalapada area with senior officials of the company and district administration.

Arcelor Mittal in association with Nippon Steel is establishing a 12 MT Integrated Greenfield Steel Plant in Kendrapada district with an investment of more than Rs 50,000 crore. An MOU was signed between the state Government and Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel in March this year in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and L N Mittal.

Lakshmi Mittal is expected to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today afternoon.
