Arm Recovered From D Gang: Munger Link Comes to Light, CP to Take Dhalasamant on Remand

Cuttack: In a biggest arm recovery in the recent past, the Commissionerate Police has recovered 16 guns and over 1000 rounds of live ammunitions from the house of the gangster Dhalasamant brothers in CDA area of Cuttack.

Addressing a presser, the twin city Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi gave a detail list of seized arms and ammunitions that have been recovered during the raid on Thursday.

According to police, the arms and ammunition were smuggled from the Bihar’s Munger.

A total of eight persons have been arrested in this connection, police official said.

The CP is suspecting presence of more weapons in the house.

“We will take Dhalasamanta brothers for Dquestioning,” Sarangi said.

The dreaded gangster brothers are involved in extortion despite being lodged in jail.
