Odisha: Asit Kumar Tripathy Takes Charge as Chief Secretary
Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, Asit Kumar Tripathy on Monday took charge as the new chief secretary of Odisha.
Tripathy, a 1986 batch IAS officer has succeeded Aditya Prasad Padhi, who was appointed the State Election Commissioner.
Speaking to media after taking charge, Tripathy Said, he will focus on the 5 T Policy of the Government, besides providing infrastructure facilities at par with national level.
“I will closely monitor the speedy implementation of different welfare schemes of the Government and data digitization process will be speed up in the State”, he said.
