Berhampur: It seems that trouble is brewing on for Aska MLA Saroj Kumar Padhi after a controversial audio clip allegedly featuring him went viral on social media.
The audio of the BJP MLA allegedly demanding money from two leaseholders for lifting sand from a riverbed in Ganjam district has gone viral on social. The audio clip is being widely shared on various social media platforms for the past two days, leading widespread discussion in the political circles in Aska constituency.
Meanwhile, BJD leader and former MLA Manjula Swain demanded a proper investigation into the audio clip.
On the other hand, the BJP MLA denied his involvement in the incident and alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched to tarnish his image.
