Bhubaneswar: The Baramunda Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) will be operational from October this year.
This has been informed by Vice-Chairman ofBhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) Balwant Singh.
More than 90% of the work at the bus terminal has already been completed. An operational framework for the ISBT has been development. It will be operated through a public-private partnership model. Bus services will commence from the ISBT in October, he said.
Baramunda ISBT is the largest bus stand of the State being developed with an estimated cost of Rs 180 crore on an 11-acre land.
It will have all modern facilities including a food court, excavator, elevator, multi-storied car parking facility, WiFi, pickup and drop-off facilities for passengers.
Nearly 2000 buses can be run every day from the ISBT.
