Padmapur: A Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) in Odisha’s Bargarh district has come under the scanner of vigilance for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
As per reports, the anti-corruption officials have raided on the residence of Purandar Sahu, PEO of Daita Gram Panchayat on charges of possession of disproportionate assets.
The vigilance sleuths are verifying various documents related to the PEO’s movable and immovable property. The investigation is underway to ascertain exact amount of disproportionate assets of the panchayat official.
