Barrack Street in Chatrapur Declared Containment Zone after Two COVID-19 Positive Cases

Chatrapur: After the detection of two positive cases of COVID-19, the Ganjam district administration today declared Barrack Street of Ward No.11 under Chatrapur NAC as Containment Zone and surrounding areas as Buffer Zone for aggressive contact tracing and monitoring of preventive measures.

The areas such as Rikapalli Chowk, Ramakrushna Nagar, Sankarmatha Street and Bidyadhar Nagar have declared Buffer Zone.

The movement of people inside the Containment Zone or to and fro from containment zone is strictly prohibited, the district administration said.

The order will remain in force from Friday till modified or revoked by the administration.
