Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of the minor boy who died after getting swept away in a drain in Berhampur.
The Chief Minister expressed his deep grief over the death of the boy and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.

Eleven-year-old Sairam Patra on Wednesday died after falling in an open drain at 14-number line of Laxminrusingh Sahi in Berhampur.
The boy was returning home after attending tuition on his bicycle when he fell into an overflowing drain.
