Berhampur: The Ganesh market, one of the most popular places in Berhampur, was sealed today for allegedly violating the lockdown guidelines by the shop owners.
The Ganjam district administration sealed the market complex till June 30 after it found that the shops inside the complex were opened violating the lockdown guidelines, as per reports.
Notably, the Ganjam district administration on Sunday announced the imposition of complete lockdown in the entire district till June 30.
As per the fresh guidelines issued by the administration, shops selling non-essential items are not allowed to open during the lockdown period.
Besides, the essential service will be available from 7AM to 12 Noon. No person shall be outside home after 12 Noon to Next day 7 AM.
