Berhampur: Intensifying its drive against gambling in the ongoing festive season, the Berhampur Police has arrested as many as 73 gamblers in the last seven days.
The police has registered 16 cases of gambling and seized Rs. 3,78,310 cash.
This has been informed by Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra.
“From 13.10.2021 to till date Berhampur Police has intensified drive against gambling in view of festive occasion, 16 Nos. of Gambling cases registered, ₹3,78,310/- cash seized and 73 gamblers apprehended”, the SP tweeted.
