Berhampur Police Recovers Two Stolen Motor Cycles

Berhampur: The Berhampur police has recovered two stolen motor cycles and arrested the accused in this connection.

The accused has been identified as N.Vishal Rao (21) from Rikapalli Sahi of Chhatrapur Police Station.

On the night of July 14, Vishal Rao and one CCL entered inside the godown of complainant Pankaj Agarwal of Aska Road Berhampur by breaking open the back side door of his shop near Chaturbhuja Petrol tank with an intention to commit theft. They found cash of Rs.400 only from the shop of the complainant and took away the same.

During investigation the Berhampur Police apprehended the accused and CCL and recovered the cash from N.Vishal Rao.

During interrogation the accused confessed to have committed theft of a Hero Glamour M/C from Panabika Sahi and one Honda Activa bearing from Suraj Bihar 5th line by using duplicate key, the police said.

In this connection two cases were registered. Both the vehicles were recovered. The accused person was arrested and forwarded to court, the police said while adding that the further investigation is underway.
