Berhampur Receives Best Medium City in Innovation & Best Practices National Award

Berhampur: Adding yet another feather to its cap, Odisha’s silk city Berhampur has bagged the “Best Medium City in Innovation and Best Practices” National Award in the Swachh Survekshan 2021 Awards at the Swachh Amrit Mahotsav organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in New Delhi on Saturday.

The Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) received the Best Medium City in Innovation & Best Practices award in the city category having population between 3 -10 lakh.

Expressing happiness for award, BeMC Commissioner Dr. Siddheshwar Baliram Bondar said, “Today is a proud moment for Berhampur as BeMC has been awarded “Best Medium City in Innovation and Best Practices” National Award ( 3L-10L population) “.

The Commissioner thanked the citizens of Berhampur, H&UD, Government of Odisha for their constant support and participation.

Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has congratulated the BeMC team and thanked the people of Berhampur for their cooperation and support.
