Berhampur: Staffs of De Paul School Donate Two Day’s Salary for COVID-19 Fund

Berhampur: Extending support to the Odisha’s united fight against COVID-19, the staffs of De Paul School here have donated their two day’s salary towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to help the State Government in its efforts to contain the corona pandemic.

The teaching and non-teaching staffs of the city-based reputed school showed their solidarity with the frontline warriors who have been waging a war against the pandemic.

Principal of De Paul School Fr. Saju Antony CM and other staff members met Berhampur Sub-Collector Shinde Dattatreya Bhausaheb at his office on Wednesday and handed him over a Demand Draft of Rs 2,50,000.

The Sub-Collector thanked the staffs of De Paul School for their humanitarian gesture at this crisis situation.

Earlier, the students of De Paul School paid a special tribute to express their solidarity with the COVID-19 warriors in Ganjam district.

On the theme ‘THANK YOU GANJAM’, the students expressed their gratitude to the frontline warriors through drawing, painting, poems, short essays, video presentation and other creative ways.
