New Delhi: Biju Janata Dal Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha Amar Patnaik has given Zero Hour Notice in Rajya Sabha over the demand to confer Bharat Ratna on former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.
There is a long standing demand by the people of Odisha for conferring Bharat Ratna to Late Biju Patnaik for his contribution to the state of Odisha as well as the country.
He played a crucial role during the last leg of the freedom struggle and his contribution to the development of Odisha is unparallel. On March 5th Odisha celebrated the 104th Birth Anniversary of the great leader.
