Bhitarkanika to Remain Closed for Visitors for 10 Days in January

Kendrapara: The famous Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapara district will remain closed for visitors for 10 days in January 2022 to conduct crocodile census in waterbodies inside and outside the wildlife sanctuary.

The national park will remain out of bounds for the tourists for 10 days from January 2 to 11, according to official sources.

The decision has been taken to avoid any sort of human interference during the annual headcount exercise of estuarine crocodiles.
