Bhubaneswar: The Unit II Market Building, which was shut down indefinitely after clashes between two groups of shopkeepers two days ago, will reopen from today. The decision to reopen the Market has been taken after discussions with the permanent shopkeepers of the oldest market of Capital City. As per the decision, the Commissionerate Police will provide additional security at the area and carryout regular security checks. There will also be weekly eviction of illegal vendors every week by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. The Market was closed down since July 31st.
