Bhubaneswar Receives ‘Best Smart City in Eastern Region’ Award at India Smart Cities Conclave 2023

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday felicitated the winners of the fourth edition of the India Smart Cities Award Contest (ISAC) 2022 in Indore.

Odisha state capital Bhubaneswar has received the prestigious ‘Best Smart City in Eastern Region’ award at the India Smart Cities Conclave 2023.

The President graced the Conclave 2023 and felicitated the winters of the fourth edition of the ISAC 2022.

“Bhubaneswar is immensely proud to have received the prestigious ‘Best Smart City in Eastern Region’ award at the India Smart Cities Conclave2023. This honour was bestowed by the President of India at Indore on Wednesday. We thank all citizens of Smart City Bhubaneswar for their support. We are thankful to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for extending all support to Heritage City Bhubaneswar”, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das said.

At the ISAC 2022, Bhubaneswar was selected as the Best Smart City in the East Zone less than 10 lakh population Category.
