Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has closed two shops in the capital city for poor sanitation practices.
Hotel Venus and B.K. Enterprises were closed and will be allowed to open after maintaining proper sanitation, the civic body said.
Earlier, BMC Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange has urged the malls and shop owners to maintain cleanliness at a minimum of 5 meters and above the surroundings of their establishments.
