Bhubaneswar: Former bureaucrat Bijay Kumar Patnaik on Friday resigned from the Congress party.
Bijay Patnaik, who was the former Chief Secretary of Odisha, sent his resignation to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) through an email.
Patnaik had joined the Congress in February 2023. He had unsuccessfully contested the 2024 Assembly polls from Paralakhemundi seat in Gajapati district.
