Berhampur: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has made a clean sweep on the first day counting of votes of Panchayat elections in Ganjam district.
Maintaining its winning streak, the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led party is poised to register a landslide victory in the district.
As per the trends, the BJD is poised to win all 22 Zilla Parishad (ZP) seats in Ganjam district where the counting of the votes was held on Saturday.
The party is making impressive leads in all seats.
The counting for the rest ZP seats will be held on February 27 and 28. The district has 69 ZP seats.
