BJD Leader Pinaki Misra Donates 5 Years MP Salary to CMRF for Fani Victims
Puri: Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Pinaki Misra has decided to donate his MP salary for the next five years for the cyclone Fani victims in Puri district.
Misra, who has won the Puri Lok Sabha seat in the just concluded Lok Sabha polls, will contribute his entire salary of five years and daily allowance to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
“In view of the awful Cyclone Fani tragedy and the misery of people of Puri, I have decided to give my entire MP salary and daily allowance to the CM relief fund for the next 5 years. Will request CM @Naveen_Odisha to use it for requests from my constituency,” Pinaki tweeted.

The BJD leader retained his Puri Lok Sabha seat by defeating BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra by a margin of 11,714 votes in the elections.
