New Delhi: Odisha’s Biju Janata Dal MP Dr. Sasmita Patra has demanded the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Parliament.
On the last working day of the present Parliament Building, the Rajya Sabha MP demanded that the Women’s Reservation Bill be passed as the first Bill to be passed in the new Parliament building.
He said that despite 75 years of Parliament, one task remained incomplete and that’s the Women’s Reservation Bill and urged to take a pledge on the Women’s Reservation Bill to pass it as the first legislation in the new Parliament building which would be operational from tomorrow.
